Trips from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes

The Plitvice Lakes National Park is an unbelievable natural phenomenon consisting of 16 lakes and more than 1000 waterfalls. Leaving from Zagreb, the 145 km trip takes two hours each way. The park can be explored on foot and by passenger ferries in approximately four hours. Guided tours of the park can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.

Price: up to 150 euro per person, depending on the number of people on a tour.

Transportation (90 euro), entrance fees (ferry included) to the National Park and lunch are included in the price. Comfortable, outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended. The tour is not suitable for children under 4 years of age.
On the return trip, an optional stop in Rastoke may be arranged. Rastoke is a beautiful little village where the Slunjčica River flows over the steep cliffs and into the river Korana, creating countless waterfalls. The river and the waterfalls were used by the local inhabitants to power grain mills, demonstrating the enduring relationship between people and their natural surroundings.
